updates~

Haven't update for a while now, I have lost my motivation to write my entries ... but I don't write that frequent anyway, haha !!

Life is about the same, but my dark eye circle is getting bigger ... omg ... Even those days when I had 8 hrs sleep ...

Had dinner with some friends last Sat. I think I haven't seen some of them for like 2 yrs... After dinner, we went to have coffee @ Three Monkeys ... it's funny that we moved around different tables ... the first spot is too warm, the second one hv some weird smell ... and finally we managed to find somewhere just nice, not that noisy ... nice chat

It's getting warmer these days, can I survive without air-con this summer !?

Mine Mine ....

I went to get the free Gardasil cervical cancer vaccine this morning ... I can feel the sting afterwards as it goes into my muscle, 2 more doses to go before I complete the whole course of injections. Although it's not 100% protected but oh well... I was attracted by the ads in the shopping centre, maybe the pics are in b&w and they all have the "I did" bandage on their arm... which look pretty cool , haha!!

Omg, ever received a call from someone and asked you about a movie that both of u watched 5 yrs ago ... thank god there's Google in this world .... definitely make life easier ... I think I better blog more in case I forget what have happened in the future, particularly ppl like me who hv short term memory ... *sigh*

Arghhhh

life's been occupied by work and study recently...

As it's Friday, me n my colleagues went out for a "longer-than-usual" lunch at Regatta Boat Shed today.... scrumptious meal, always wanna go there and here we go ... forget to mention about Tiramisu ... it's okay but I think they put too much liquor in ... am quite picky when it comes to dessert ...

Shift to a new office for next week, it's nice to be by myself in the room...feel like a manager...lol

Talk to a frd tonite, he asked what I wanna do in the future, I am lost when it comes to my future...gosh... frds among me working in audit, but I don't think I can survive the long working hours... how abt marketing, not my cup of tea as I don't have good communication skills, Finance, I am confused with exchange rate, I can foresee that I will make a mess ... Thanks for the advice but do I have a choice ?

Day Dreaming

Been day dreaming for most of the time @ work, feel quite guilty ....

what's on my mind is holiday ... i wanna go to Cairns, NZ ... somewhere nice

Am worry about my upcoming CPA exam, I don't have much confidence

I dun think retail therapy is working for me here in Australia, walking in shopping centre for half day, I end up in doing grocery shopping ...

No more sad songs for now .... Jazz music will be good~

Finally the wait is over~

This mark an important date on my calendar, I officially get my citizenship after attending the ceremony .... yay~ I can go back anytime I want ... Been stuck here for more than 2 years, I must admitted many things have happened this 2 years, some are happy, some are sad ... I think my life will be so different if I go back HK without doing my Master degree.

Anyway, the ceremony was pretty simple .... Lion Dance followed by speeches given by Mayor, Members of Parliament .... basically they said similar stuffs ... congrats to become Aus Citizen ... blah blah blah ... Finally, I got my certificate, all good!!

Yesterday nite i watched 'Bourne Ultimatum' ... it was AWESOME ...

My tears burst out when I type this post .... with the blue songs am listening... i miss home, i miss my friends ... gosh, am touched by all those memories I had in Brissy... silly me

Think Think Think .... what have I achieved in the past few years?

I am lucky enough that I finished my degree in Australia ... Met some good frds ... no regrets !! ... But when it comes to achievement, I can hardly find any ... just like some pieces are missing in a jigsaw puzzle

What bother me the most is I didn't achieve much in my career, so far ~ needa to put more effort in to get what I want ... so frustrating!!

I consider myself quite pessimistic some point in time, one article caught my attention ... good inspirations

Noosa Jazz Festival

Been sick since last week, got some medicine from the pharmacy, don't seem to work on me...instead, i became more emotional... i think i am useless, lost my appetite .... wonder what kind of symptom is that, my mum even wonder if I suffered from depression, haha!!

As I don't seem to get any better, I just went to UQ clinic on Monday, after doctor diagnosis, it's viral infection..."well, take more fluid and have enough rest" .... and so i take one day off on Mon....keke

I really wanna get well by Friday because Ann and me is going to farewell for Kom in which he's going back this Sunday

Got off from work at 5, went to Ann's house with Kom, she picked us up from the train station, help her a bit with the preparation .... we are having steamboat that night... Thai style may be ... it's very nice .... Always feel so relaxed n fun when I am with them

Next morning we went to Noosa for Jazz Festival, Dennis (Ann's husband) is playing in the Caxton Street Jazz Band, double bass, it's my first time to see their performance... it's awesome...

Lunch @ Surf Life Saving Club... then went to Cafe Le Monde for Dennis performance, the audience and performer made the whole event a huge success, good atmosphere.

what made this trip more fun is Ann and Kom keep teasing my high pitch voice... they laugh so badly .... as long as they r happy ... it's okay with me

In short, I really wanna come back next yr to jazz festival if it's possible

Ekka 2007

Went to Ekka on the Show Day (15 Aug) not as crowded as I expected...which is good~

i believe it will be my last time to visit Ekka...Wanna take some picture that day but weather wasn't that good... my mood was as dreadful as the weather

Ferris wheel .... my fav out of all the rides. Totally agree with my colleague that if you wanna go for rides, just go to Dreamworld!!

The only thing i fancied abt Ekka were Animals, particularly birds... check this out!!



Another can-not-be miss is Strawberry Sundae, but it's not as nice as before...how come~

Stay till 8-ish for the fireworks...it's good

Fun Fun Fun

It might sound crazy, but I do have mad fun today...

Recapss....

Went to "Simpson the Movie" with Kom and Hilda ... it's so packed in South Bank Cinema .... we only managed to sit in the first few rows ..... It's a good movie, lots of laugh .... particularly when Homer do some stupid stuffs, like adopt a pig as pet (called Spider Pig) and all those troubles created thereafter .... It's gonna be big hit !!

After the movie, since we don't want to go home yet, we decided to go to Chemside for Bowling .... it's fun ... Hilda is the champion ....

Dinner time, met up with Ross and Jon in Sunnybank .... we went to Korean place .... food is so so... but happy to see them again ... blah blah blah .... weather is cold, but i feel warm ...

what's next ... we end up went to Echo Karaoke .... we sang a lot of different song, Ross rocks ..... seriously .... Kom sings Jay's Song .... cool cool ....

Very Tired .... it won't be fun without any of u ...

Afterwards, we went shopping in city, didn't get the stuff we both want but window shopping is yet another way to make myself happy...

Not-So-Special Day

Productivity was real low today...didn't accomplish much ... because it's so quiet in the office... most of the managers went for holiday.... I was not slacking...just that I can't offer much help

Can't work out why my colleagues seems to be so busy all the time, even lunch time they will have their lunch in front of the computer... as a newbie i just follow what they do .... somehow hv the feeling of isolating from the rest ... may be i just worry too much

Had dinner with Hilda tonight...maybe i will join badminton club...seems to be so much fun

After a long period of time haven't blog...i am back!!

Firstly, Happy Father's Day n Happy Birthday to my Dad!!

Secondly, been to a few museums lately...Art Gallery n Powerhouse Museum..Embarrass thing happened when I was playing with one art piece, look too magnificent in actual fact...without knowing they have security camera in place tracking down ppl like me...the staff came to me and said "Sorry, u are not suppose to touch it"...really wanna hide somewhere at that moment

Where Else, went to Jonga (korean BBQ) with Ann n Kom, so yum!! Karaoke afterwards, I think it's been a year when i went to karaoke last time, believe it or not!! Heaps of fun

Went to Mt Meee......it's a breathtaking place...nice weather... lots of laugh, nice ppl n funny/weird dog...Thank you Ann for cooking lunch for us

Went to Hanaichi for lunch, then watched Ocean's 13 todae, not too bad...i found it more organise than the Ocean's 11 n 12..

Low point

Trying so hard to forget what have happened...but it's not easy... gosh since when i became so gloomy... happiness is so hard to further extend even tho you look things at the brighter side. Even if you give the smile like sunshine at all the hurdles ahead, it still hunt you down when the clouds keep blocking your way.

Sitting, Waiting for employers call... it's offer day today... as usual .... what have gone wrong

Still considering whether to take my pet back to hk, they have kept me company in the past 3 years... don't wanna abandon them or set them free (someone's suggestion) but is rather pricey...

anyways, this kind of emotion affects me badly and i should learn to be mature and stay calm to whatever happens!

Wow

Ytd went for an interview @ Emporium Hotel...which schedule to open in May 2007... was quite excited before I went there...because it's a position that I keen on working... Anyway, one lady from HR asked me to attend the information session n interview that afternoon...when i arrived there...

Omg i can't believe my eyes that they invited more than 300 applicants to the interview session...what's more is that there is another info session next day... should i be happie that i am one of them...em...not really!! i assume they will employ around 50 since the size of the hotel wasn't that big... chatting with some applicants and found out that some are working in another hotel for quite some time...the feeling is like from full of confidence to don't care anymore, just try my best..

Someone notify me I will be up next (finally!! after waiting for ages), i tried to impress the interviewer as our interview last for 5 mins on average but i reckon she wasn't that interested after all ... Anyway, finger cross for me

Stupid ME

Aiya...how can I made this kind of careless mistake...this morning went for da graduate accountant interview with TAFE... it went quite smoothly in general... not until the very last moment, the interviewer asked me whether I want to work in public or commercial sector. I thought this must be a bonus question, as TAFE belongs to government...so I tell him public sector...n why blah blah blah... his response is "Actually we are gradually moving to commercial sector although we still rely on the funding by government"... Ooopps ... i don't think I can get this job now *sob sob*

Yeahhhhhhh, had dinner with Ally, Link n Ming (wat a pity that gen was absent!!) in Sunnybank tonight! scrumptious dinner... plus Dessert (Bubble Tea, Tofu custard n ice-cream)....haha... full n really satisfied!!

Discovered something really interesting in one of the hotel room today...they actually place a mirror along the kitchen area...bear in mind that it's right in front of the stove...i was lyk, what's the point?? it's no doubt that it's a good looking n creative design but i wonder if a lot of guest will be looking at themselves while they are cooking...or may be they intended to let the guest to watch tv from the mirror image n cooking at the same time...funny

After working for 5 entire days, feel really exhausted...at first I finished at 3 today, but all of a sudden my supervisor came to me and ask me to help others out...well ok then..oopssss, time to sleep. goodnite everyone!!

Wellz, my life been pretty monotonous these dayz.... still better than those days slacking at home... working n studying....so far so good...wanna get an account job soon...wanna learn more useful to equip myself way better. gimme support then i'll give all my effort to achieve it!!

Am getting more used to wake up early now, but sometimes my brain just didn't function properly...lyk this morning when i wore my contacts, i put both contacts on my right eye...how come i see blurry stuffs...scary i know...

I think this is my 2nd time to spend CNY in Brisbane...Personally I prefer Christmas to CNY as I enjoy doing Christmas Shopping around that time both for myself n my frds....n Christmas holidays in Australia are generally longerrr...*laughs*
